My parents celebrate their 30th anniversary today

June 6th, 2006

Kind of an auspicious day for a big-ten wedding anniversary, 6/6/6 and all … still, congratulations are due to Donna, Gardner and Satan. Without them I wouldn’t be where I am today.

In all seriousness, I don’t believe evil exists and I do believe love does. This frame of mind makes the world a much more manageable place to live, and my parents are responsible in a large part for setting me on the way to this outlook. Thanks, guys!

    Yeah — the hosting company’s server, and its backup both went down — that was the second time in a month that had happened with that hosting company too. I had backed up the files in November, but the backup-generator encoded some stuff wrong so that was no-go too. It’s all right though, building stuff you’ve built before is a good exercise in making things better.
