No internet at home can be a beautiful thing
August 28th, 2006
I’ve lived without computer and internet at home for two weeks. I fixed the computer today, so it’s back and stuff, but the last two weeks were awesome. I’m got so much stuff done. I did the cleaning and organizing I should have done years ago, I read a lot more, I took a walk, I cooked a big meal.
I’m going to try and have some weekly “No-Computer Days” from here on out — probably Tuesdays and Thursdays. It sounds like a good idea… not as good as my “Shirts-Off Saturday” was, but, well, what is.

You can always do the computer free days with your shirt off and invite everyone to participate.
