Election night

November 7th, 2006

This will be my third year in a row in a newsroom on election night. It’s a fun and intense way to spend the evening. This year I’m putting together the Denver Post webcam coverage, with the help of co-worker and tech guy Doug Conarroe. There will probably be links to the webcams starting around 7p.m. at http://www.denverpost.com/election… tune in! In theory we’re broadcasting a live stream from the state Republican election party, the state Democrat election party, and the newsroom “boiler room,” where folk are on the phones gathering election return data.

Yeah democracy.
