So Denver’s got some Chicago-style wind chills running through the streets, and I’m off to Crested Butte to go visit Mark and Ali for the weekend. We’re up against a couple winter warnings on the drive up, which could make it an adventure getting there. Hopefully not too much of an adventure.

First, I didn’t know Williams. I’m not religious about football. The guy died 150 feet from where I live, and I guess that makes me feel weird / closer to his passing. Here are some of the things I’ve noticed since his death:

Update: Found a new reason for happy: I found the mp3 of the cover of Paul Simon’s Graceland by Casiotone for the Painfully Alone. It’s superb, one of the best “make it your own”-type covers I know.
