Most.Police Cars.Evarrrr

Friday night I was walking back from a show at the Hi-Dive with Sarah, about 1:30 in the morning. Saw four police cars all lit up take a right on the corner right in front of us, so we went over to watch. There was a car stopped a half-block down, and there were cops with guns drawn, standing behind open cop-car doors (like they do, you know?) yelling at the people in the car.
And then, the police cars kept coming. Thirteen in all. I have never seen so many police cars in my life. I remember reporting at the Kenosha News, reading the police logs — there, six police cars was a big deal. Denver’s bigger of course, so the bar is higher. From my shoeleather-on-the-ground research work I found out that somebody pulled a gun on somebody else at a local nightclub (The Church — it’s in an old church, and the people who run it are really creative). Nobody was hurt. The cops got their guys.
