bacon. I’ve been using that word a lot this week. This month. Yeah, really, this year. This week the new band I’m in, The Bacon Lobby, released our first song and music video. It’s called Bacon Man, and it’s about Obama. Sometimes we call it Obama Bacon Man. It goes “O–bama bacon man, make it in the frying pan, can he make it yes he can, O–bama bacon man.” I wrote most of those words, Sarah wrote some, and Joachim put it all together on the track and the video. Ah, Craigslist. You are so full of information about people and the way they live. Based on intelligent website traffic estimates, “erotic services” is hands-down the most-clicked Craigslist category in most major U.S. cities. Actually, all of them. Except Denver.

No, not Denver. In Denver “cars” takes first. Yeah, we like cars more than getting our erotic stuff serviced. I think that makes me proud to be here.

Tonight I launched Joe Think, my blog about how local journalism can use the internet to be awesome and relevant. It’s something I meant to do a while ago, but ya’ know, stuff comes up.
